A Fitler Club Wedding proves love wins

Lindsay & Thomas pulled out all the stops to whisk their guests through their love story. They wanted to host a romantic, elevated yet relaxed event that showcased their journey as a couple. Lindsay knew they needed to brighten the dark and moody vibe of their industrial-chic venue, The Fitler Club. A color palate inclusive of fuschia, purple, and blue with gold accents set the tone for the entire affair. The significance of Philadelphia was showcased with their choice of venue all the way to the offerings Lindsay and Thomas made use of for cocktail hour. The Fitler Club’s Trophy Room included arcade games, bowling, and billiards symbolic of their fun dates where they cut loose and were able to act like kids again. They met on Bumble and after Lindsay’s busy & unpredictable schedule threatened to impede on their first planned date- a Knicks vs. Sixers game- the two made the effort to make it happen by skipping their original plans and having dinner where they shared an organic conversation they both agreed to continue beyond their first date!

In keeping with the hot and steamy day outside on their wedding day, Lindsay & Thomas served up super hot looks throughout their photoshoot prior to the ceremony with the talented husband and wife photography team, Sheronda Seawright Photography. Though they played around as they normally would, Lindsay shares the most special part of the day was their First Look when both she and Thomas shed tears, seeing each other after a hectic morning of getting ready and many people, friends, family and vendors were overseeing the time leading up to this moment. They enjoyed the intimacy of this moment when the day finally started to “feel real”.

We always vote for a private First Look, just the couple & photographer, to ensure it’s as intimate as it should be.

While the wedding day can seem like a whirlwind after months and sometimes years of planning, Lindsay and Thomas were so intentional with their wedding day choices that they enjoyed every last second and appreciated all that they were able to accomplish. Personal touches were everywhere you turned with a memorial table as well as generations of love able, a nod to Lindsay’s love of old photos and the nostalgia in invokes.

We love being a part of a beautiful love story and one of our favorite parts of the day was Lindsay’s reaction during the Reception Reveal (pictured below). While we never want a bride in tears especially as a result of us as their planner, we welcomed her teary eyed hug because the design concept she had a hard time visualizing was executed exactly as she hoped. That reaction is what we dream and hope for after our months of meticulous planning. I was so happy to be a part of this special day for an amazing couple. The extra icing on the cake was snagging a photo of that fleeting moment during the reveal that so many don’t get to experience.

I’m not crying, you’re crying!
